I've learnt that working hard for your students also makes them work hard

The best lesson is through example

 I've learnt that you attract more ants with honey than with vinegar

 I've learnt that you cannot change a person
For them to change they must want to change

 I've learnt that making Allah happy with me is easier than making people happy

 I've learnt that when I leave my problems to Allah, I don't stress out about them

 I've learnt that life is a test and that it doesn't matter how you started, but it matters how you live it and most importantly how you end it.

 I've learnt that concern and love are hard to fake. 

 I've learnt that the road to jannah is full of difficulties while the road to hell is full of following your desires. 

 I've learnt to look for life's lessons in all things.

 I've learnt that when a person fails to take lessons from an earlier test Allah, repeats the test again to make sure the lesson is not only understood, but not forgotten.

  “I Know Allah Better Than All of You” Faiyaz M. Khan The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu alayhi wasallam , said: “I am most God-fearing, and know Allah better than all of you.” [1] When the Prophet uttered these words, he was not boasting – he was stating facts. This is because Allah says in Surah Fatir: “Those who truly fear Allah among His servants are those who have knowledge.” [2] The servants mentioned here refers to the prophets and messengers of God, as they are the only ones we can be certain have knowledge about Allah and His religion. Khan Islam recognises the hardships that travellers endure; thus, allowing them dispensations to alleviate their difficulties: [1] these include allowing Muslims to forgo obligatory actions like fasting during Ramadan and missing Friday prayers.
