Dadi taught me:
- to be a good Muslim.
- to do more and speak less.
- to be family oriented.
- about a life dedicated to family.

Abba taught me:
- to be generous to family and friends
- to be hard working.
- to be a good provider for my family.
- to be a loyal friend.
- to be a man.
- to be funny.

Mum taught me:
- to have fun.
- to go out and see the world and experience it.
- to be frank with others.

Hassan Abba taught me:
- to be an activist.
- to be an active Muslim.
- to love my work.
- to be a volunteer.
- to be a leader.

Uncle Master taught me:
- the importance of education.
- to be kind and friendly to people.
- to go to the masjid regularly.
- to be my own man.
- to be willing to talk and learn from anyone.
- to be proud of being Muslim and who you are.
- the importance of contacts.
